The current owner of All Gods Creatures, Ms. Felicia, purchased this beautiful grooming shop from its previous owner in October of 2016. Her reason for diving into dog grooming? A naughty puppy named Max. Her fun loving pup was a handful for other groomers, so she decided to learn the tricks of the trade and groom him herself. Originally from Copperas, Texas, Ms Felicia grew up in a rather large family and her family values are reflected in the way she interacts with her staff, and her clients. When asked about the relationships she builds she stated that relationships were of the “At most importance, these are their babies, so their babies are our babies. Any issue they have with their dogs we work it out with them. Something they don't like we fix it or discount it for the next visit, but always try to make it right.”

The shop is also very attentive to the dogs you bring to them. Their holding spaces are visible at all times, which means your four legged fur babies are under constant supervision. If your dog is feeling scared they pause the grooming to make them more comfortable. If your dog shows aggression or behavioral issues they exert a calming assertiveness to continue the groom. The staff even takes the dogs on walks, not only for well-needed potty time but also to alleviate tension, fear, or anxiety.

Though the owners favorite breeds are pitbulls and shitzus, the groomers in this shop have experience with all kinds of breeds and cuts from the symmetry of the Yorkies to the fluffy curls of the Poodle. Ms. Felicia is also one who appreciates working with the naughty dogs that exhibit personality traits that not all grooming shops can handle. They’re knowledgeable on breed specific cuts, from ears to feet, but ask dog owners detailed questions on their preferences to ensure customer satisfaction. Even if you aren’t exactly sure what you want they are able to adequately interpret the general look you want for your dog and use it as a guideline for your next visit.

Service packages include a bath with Barks to Basics Shampoo, and a condition with a highly revered conditioner called “The Stuff” that has no smell, causes no allergic reactions and adds a sleek, shining finish. Next is a hand blow dry, and the haircut desired by the owner. The anal glands are squeezed, ears are cleaned and clipped right along with the nails. If desired they add a wonderfully scented spritz and your dog is good to go. With the maximum wait time of 3-4 hours, the quality cuts are complemented with a friendly staff to customer experience. Dogs leave happy, and fresh, displaying a newfound confidence as they say goodbye with wagging tails until their next appointment.
